The price of subscriptions, just as has already happened for other platforms, could soon undergo increases, already announced and confirmed in the USA. It is not yet clear which other countries will quickly suffer the gains. Still, Disney +, following in the footsteps of Netflix, has already thought of a solution to avoid losing users and allow those who want to opt for an economical solution to keep looking at his proposals.
Disney +, The Rise In Season Tickets
Disney + in Italy currently costs 8.99 euros per month if you choose to renew your subscription monthly or 89.90 euros per year. An expense that allows you to watch films, TV series, shows, shorts, documentaries and original cartoons exclusively in 4K UHD format with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on compatible devices.
In the standard subscription plan, you can watch catalog products from 4 different screens simultaneously, create up to seven other profiles and start downloads on up to ten devices—an advantageous offer for cinema lovers and families who want quality entertainment.
The price, however, may change. In the United States of America, an increase has already been announced. Starting December 8, the leading subscription will cost $ 10.99 per month or $ 109.99 if you decide to pay annually. It needs to be clarified whether the changes, which seem to involve only the US, will also be extended to other countries.
Disney + Follows The Example Of Netflix: The New Subscription With Advertising
With the increased subscription cost, Disney + has offered its customers another option. To do this, he followed the example of Netflix, which recently introduced an economic plan in which commercial breaks are foreseen before, during and after the playback of the content.
The new Disney + ad-supported subscription will cost $ 7.99 per month, equal to the price paid by subscribers to the current standard plan of the service. The commercials will be inserted before viewing all the contents of the catalog and will last approximately five minutes every hour. US subscribers will have until December 7 to choose whether to opt for the Premium or the Basic plan with advertising.
